Jobot is one of those joints downtown that I fire a mental salute to, whenever I cruise past it — formerly tucked away off of 5th street, it's ducked and weaved the might of urban gentrification and since early 2017, lives in a prominent spot right off of 3rd and Roosevelt. It seems no matter who you talk to that spends any amount of time downtown, they'll cite Jobot as one of their favorite spots to drop in for a coffee, a meal, and to catch up with friends. We can't wait to start our new lives out of quarantine so we can drop in for crêpes, pastries, and whatever the hell they feel like whipping up behind the bar. It'll be a brand new day.
